The
question of how to produce a magazine that serves the
wider community of AV resellers, distributors and
manufacturers is one that a number of publishers have
addressed.
The market is potentially vast. The economics of print
publishing, and particularly delivery, are such that
addressing a huge market with a print only publication
simply isn't viable.
While online newsletters provide a cost-effective means
of delivery, they are unpopular with readers and
advertisers alike.
Then there is the question of content. If a magazine is
successful in its home market because it delivers
relevant content, the same content is unlikely to be
relevant to readers in other countries.
While based on the UK concept of a dedicated magazine
for the AV trade, AV News International has unique
content, written from an international perspective. It
is delivered as print and also in a broadband format
that offers a genuine magazine experience. |
